Do you want your spouse to be your best friend? Does your spouse want you to be their best friend? Maybe it's best not to ask questions we don't want to really know the answer to? Just saying. :-)
Maybe ... a FAR better question might be ... is ... "Do you want to FEEL that your spouse is your best friend?" The Quantum FEELING Model is an interesting model. Are you willing to do the WORK, to make the SACRIFICES and to take the RISKS required to have a deep friendship with your spouse?
If you really want to "Stir The Pot" ... like the queen of pot stirrers ... who's name shall not be mentioned ... think of the two people you wouldn't want to share this with ... and then ... share it with them.

1-1: Does a wife want her husband to share his feelings?

There are a few men ... more of them in today's society who think their feelings are more important than their wives and children. Men like this ... we are not talking to you in THIS podcast. But, don't worry, we'll get to you in another podcast for sure! :-)
Women, actually, based on their responses to their husband's sharing their feelings ... may SAY they want to hear their husband's feelings, but DO they really MEAN that?
When a woman's WORDS do not match their ACTIONS ... that creates confusion for a man and ... well ... he'll just want to go work, go hunting ... do most everything that will get away from his wife and children.

Now ... Most husband's don't like to read books or listen to podcasts about relationships ... but this one, men will want to watch / listen to it. Why? Well ... we all know what men want most from their wives ... or ... do we?

- There may be a point where the wife hurts the man, and he learns to not share his emotions ... hmmm ... I wonder if this can happen with a boy's mom too?
- I, as a man, am responsible for my own feelings. Not my mom or wife will be, that is where men become weak.
- So ... men don't want their wives to care about their feelings. Hmmm, Unless it's on a date night, Then the man being sad is OK as it can bring benefit to both ... and totally Biblical too boot :)

Hmmm ... Unanswered Questions ...

- Boys show their feelings so Mom can be a healer, fixing things. I wonder if at what point the boy loses this, slowly over time maybe.
- OR ... if the boy who is now a man ... who never loses this ... if he becomes a wuss ... if he never really grows into becoming a man ... and his wife is stuck with being married to a boy the rest of her life?
- For sure this isn't stirring the pot: Hmmm ... do some moms have ... emotional affairs with their boys ... which is fine ... of course ... which then takes away from the wife being able to properly connect with her husband ... which sadly the husband is fine with ... as is the wife ... as are the adult children ... until a young women comes along and is actually nice to the husband / father and actually really does care about the husband ... who feels (and feelings are so important) that he's actually just a meal ticket, a piece of meat for his wife and children ... and then he has what his wife and children say is an emotional affair ... hmmm ... these podcasts are interesting for sure.
- > And then the husband figures out that it's totally OK for him to have an emotional affair with a spreadsheet. And he's like ... "Well, it would be nice if my wife and adult children would learn to have emotional affairs with spreadsheets as well ... rather than one another and/or themselves?"
- ~ Yepper ... (Amish word) ... there's more than one Queen of pot stirrers ... is every women a pot stirrer? And she loves doing that ... until her son, husband, father and/or grandfather studies women enough ... and learns to play with them at the level that they play. Hmmm ... if you though the above podcast was ... a bit ... well hard to put into words, just imagine what the future one's will be.
- There seems to be Kryptonite for each personality. Something that just drains our energy. What is the best way to recover from this?

Think back to when you were a kid/teenager, and you lied. Was there a time when ... everything changed? In this podcast, Mark shares about a life-changing event that happened to him when he was 15 years old, and Patrick shares about a life-changing event that happened to him when he was 19 years old.

Have you had a similar experience as Mark and Patrick? This is a crazy podcast that covers ... a LOT. Is it true what Mark shares that we stop growing in specific areas of our brain if we haven't healed properly? What happens when one spouse is growing, and the other is not? Does a certain personality have more challenges in this area than others, and does that lead to challenges later in life with Alzheimer's?
